#Sliding removed from the game?

Was sliding removed from the game? It doesn't work for me. Whenever I go to the controls for Xbox controller, none of the buttons are labeled for sliding. I see comments saying you have to toggle hold to crouch-- but this option isn't anywhere to be found in the menu. I see comments saying you have to hold the button-- holding does nothing at all. I even reset settings to default and still nothing. I absolutely cannot slide or see any sort of information in the game about sliding. I beat the game months ago, though, and I remember there being sliding.

Was it really removed? If so, why?

I decided to boot the game back up and give it another chance. All seems to be working now. I wonder if it had something to do with converting my save to the latest version, but all is now good
