game saving problem

i have a problem with my save. Whenever i finish playing dying light and close the game next time i open it my save is at the same state as it was before playing. and im stuck at legend lvl 16 even tho i was lvl 18 like a month ago and now if i just restart the game i'm losing every progress and im still lvl 16
