So ive had a problem with this and i tried to fix it myself through doing other settings and different drivers on my pc, i can share my pc specs but idk how to share the crashing files from dying light 2 (too confusing). To be exactly how it crashed: I launch into the game, continue to play my save, but after like 2-5 minutes it just freezes for some seconds and then it says dying light 2 is not responding. I´m not sure what to do by now, i dont want to spam the tickets and wait for long responses through gmail, so right now i want to discuss it here before the ticket so i can get information. My pc specs are: Rtx 4080(not ti), 32gb of ram, 13th gen of core i7 13700.

The current things i tried: Changing powerplans, verifying the game files, changing video settings, redoing whole windows and changing drivers on my graphics card

I'm having a similar problem, I can play for about 10 minutes before the game crashes.

downgrade drivers

#

and use ddu as that cleans off any display drive you have

#

I would read up a guide in your instance if you guys don't know what to do

#

common mistake is that no one deletes the old drivers they have so even if you downgrade the issue might persist

All this to play one game? Fuck that.

Putting steam into offline mode didn't work either.

It's an Nvidia driver problem, there's no other solution than what the people are suggesting above until Nvidia fixes it

Great.

#

Knowing Nvidia, it might be fixed in our lifetimes.

Fuck it, I'm just gonna get a copy for the xbox or something and steer clear of the PC version until a fix is put out.

Ya, if you don't want to downgrade your drivers that's a workaround

Wait.
Could downpatching the game work?

proven yew
#

but downgrading a driver is probably like 10 minutes

#

you use ddu, it removes every display drive you have, it might result your screen defaulting to 800*600 and you just download an older patch of nvidia drivers

#

I use ddu a lot as amd leaves so much garbage behind with every update it is insane

What Nvidia drivers will work with Dying Light 2?
I saw someone mention 556.12.

the fix for me was going into the games files and deleted the "settings" and "savedata" folder but fair warning this will also erase all game saves you have

what always fix for me is go to steam and verify the game files

I checked the crash log of my most recent crash (04/09/2024 10:31 PM) and it says "error: DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED".
Any idea what it means?

But the game doesent working... pls help My Specs: AMD Ryzen7 7700x / Nvidia RTX 3060 12GB / MSI Tomhawk B650 / Corsair 32gb 6000 kit
