My friend's on Epic Games and I'm on Steam, we can't crossplay, this is has been happening for around 3 weeks maybe more now.

I could use some help with what I think is a bug. In the mission Swansong, there are body parts you need to pick up. I think the first 2 are in bags underwater where the mission starts, but I can't seem to pick them up. I see thr pick up buttion but it doesn't work and it doesn't matter if I leave and come back. They are always under the water it won't be picked up. Any suggestions?
