i loose fps even tho my friend has a laptop and is good fps on it and he has it on high mode and i have on medium

lagg can be due to many reasons. processor starts to throttle, slow hard drive . ssd is recommended. unnecessary processes/programs run in the background. What processor, graphics card and how much internal memory do you have? ssd disk?

what resolution are you running?

low/very low settings with fsr 2 are recommended for the 1660 at 1080p.
