Encountered a bug where ||while fighting the two demolishers in the portal, killing one just despawns them both.|| Any ideas?

Ive tried this 4-5 times now with the exact same thing happening each time
Am I even meant to kill them? ||I had to kill the goons prior to this or I wasnt able to progress.||
I also tried dying, last story point, last option for me is to Rollback the save file which I would much rather not do
As the rollback would push me back 11 hours
Tried killing them both at the same time which also did not work
Nevermind ||Found out that I have to enter survivor sense to find invisible...whatever it is||
I have no idea what I even picked up

Ah, I had that issue. I think due to inventory and stash full. Clear some space before doing more! You get 6 pieces in total. I didn’t get trousers myself so had to join someone else to get them.

I just threw the pants on without even knowing I had boots, too
