Stuck in part of "The Machine" | Dying Light | Page 1

I'm currently doing the machine in the tolga and fatin questline and am in a area where I'm supposed to fight 2 demolishers. Right as I'm about to hit a killing blow they both just disappear and I'm left in the void. I've tried following the ringing. Also can't exit the mission. Was funny the first time now its just kinda annoying.

Follow the beeps, pick up item on the floor. Once correct item picked up, it should progress.

Damn that was pretty weirdly communicated but yeah I prolly should've just kept trying to follow it.
