Feel like this is pretty niche. I’ve started replaying Dying light 2 after the firearms update on my steam deck. Bought a copy on steam and have been enjoying the game. Decided to make a pilgrim outpost account and get some of the new rewards. The Scorpio specifically. Skip ahead. I did the bounties and claimed the scorpio with my linked steam account and got the reward in game. Some time passes and I found my original copy of Dying light 2 which on the Xbox. I was excited to try out the game with updated graphics on the series S so I install and am eager to play. The game looks even better on the NextGen console and I’m enjoying playing a New Game Plus save. I decided I want to see if I got any of the rewards from my time playing on steam and was pleasantly surprised to see all the microtransactions I had bought with DL points were account specific and shared on my Xbox account as well. I continue playing and remember the Scorpio and all the cool pilgrim rewards I got and realized none of them were in my player stash on the Xbox version.
Figured this was due to my steam account being linked up first but then got me wondering if this was by design or a bug as the DL point packs I had gotten were account wide and not bound to my steam copy of the game. Which inlays my drive to post this here. I was wondering if the pilgrim rewards were cross platform for those of us that would like to play the game on multiple platforms or if the rewards were bound to one platform. Hope to hear back. Been really enjoying all the new updates and changes to the game over the past 2 years.
