my fps is dropping after CPU change, why is this? | Dying Light | Page 1

So i upgraded my CPU from a Ryzen 5 2600 to an R5 5500, but now the game is just dying, why is this happening?
im getting like huge fps drops, down to 5 fps.
Drivers are up to date.

Tbh Im not having that bad fps drops but Im getting some as well with i7 12700kf and 4070 which is really weird, I guess you can try reinstal game or windows and see if that helps if not , then probobly just wait for fix 🙂 as I do, lets hope

Check GPU usage in Task Manager or use monitoring tools like MSI Afterburner.

Also try open the amd vudeo software, navigate to the "Gaming" tab, and check individual game profiles. Ensure that the preferred graphics processor is set to your dedicated GPU rather than integrated graphics (CPU).
