can’t use paraglider or grappling hook in co op game with friend

I’ve tried restarting my game, but that doesn’t work. It works in my own game but not when I join his. It has worked before the recent update.

That’s happened to me too, there’s not much you can do about it. The game eventually allowed me to use the paraglider/grappling hook after playing for a while, like maybe 30 min - 1 hr, specifically after completing some quests.

Its a bug that the devs are aware of and working on it... Thats what i've heard

Do you remember when you got the paraglider again?
I've been playing for like 3 hours with my friend and no paraglider or grappling hook, we've done ton of quests too

I was playing from the beginning of NG+ with my friend, and I didn't get them until I reached the tunnels to find Waltz where Aitor confronts us

I didn't start my NG+ yet but I have the paraglider and the grappling hook, joined my friend who is a new player and I can't use those tools. Then we did the quest where we get the paraglider and it still stop me from using the paraglider.

weirdly with some friends' world it works but it doesn't work on most saves

I can't figure out what's causing the issue

I had it unlocked in my world, yes
