having trouble getting my progress from ps4 to ps5

So I got a ps5 and I downloaded the save data from my ps4 to the ps5 (didn’t transfer game from old console just transferred the data and downloaded the game from PSstore) and everytime I load up the game it shows that I’m completely new to game my entire campaign save is gone and all of my progress, can anyone help?

You can't transfer your ps4 save to ps5 yet.

Hey in down to play with u on the ps5 version, ive already beat the game on my pa4 but now i gotta restart wich sucks but eh whatver. I would be down to play with u tho, idk if we can do quests together tho, never played dl2 co op before
