can't grab onto ledges and such

for some reason i can't grab onto many edges of things i should be able to climb up. it even happens with trucks/cars. also i can't climb drain pipes. it acts as though i lost all stamina before i actually do.

There is an option in setting which automatically grabs tou ledges turn it on

i have physical problems parkour on, should I switch to assisted?

and when off, how do ledges get grabbed?

Maybe it has something with physical problems but i play on it with auto grab ledges

And everything works fine

But try assisted

Also verify your game files

And delete mods if you have any

no

i start off having no problems but over time i can't grab edges or fall from drain pipes prematurely

example: i'll reach the top of a pipe but slide down before i actually grab the roof ledge above it. and i'll still have over half stamina left

and again, this includes smaller things also. even some ladders

@heady oyster i just now found out that if i pause/unpause, it works again for a while, until it doesn't and pausing fixes it again

so that says something

ya same happened to me since last few days i have started new to this game.. and also showing issue on movement ragdoll. What should i do nad how to fix this even after 2yrs of update?

still happens to me occasionally. the temporary fix is pressing Escape and then resuming. that fixes it for some reason

happens in water too, i just sink and struggle to swim to the surface, pressing escape temporaily fixes it

Actually this doesn't bother me until a volatile chases me and I'm gonna jump or slide beside the ledge of roof or top and then it auto grab but took time to climb up and I die ☠.
Or sometime doing parkour and bandit saw me then just beside the ledge of the roof i stood but it shows i keep coming down on the slope and during that time specially no (ranged) weapon can work it just shows animation of sliding. That's the most annoying part of this game! 😩😡🤯
