My dying light 2 solo save never saves. I mainly play with friends so whenever it happens Ill go through the prologue and get it done, it never posed a problem. Now, during the part in "markers of the plague" when hakon wants you to make a lockpick to open the door, Ill have lockpicks, but there is no prompt to pick it. Ive restarted, reinstalled, and just generally gave up. Any and all help will be appreciated and tested. Thanks!

Honestly the only thing that could be softlocking you is the possibility of you not having crafted the lockpicks when the game prompted you to, and have had them BEFORE it prompted you to
and, along side that ; unless this is your first time playing the game, I'd recommend making a new save where you just skip the prologue in its entirety, having it be replaced with an intro cutscene. It's nothing special after the first one or two times (other than scenery, that's just my opinion though) and is more of a hassle to go through

That is true, me and my friend speculated they had to be level one because of the part specifically, but who knows. Thanks

Find a box ( gre hospitals are open break all picks then go back) I try to specialize in fixing hard/soft locks

I appreciate your contribution, but at the time the update dropped I had accepted my fate and rolled back my save 28 real life hours.
