#DL2 Tabbing out problem

When I try playing DL2, recently there has been a problem i can only refer to as blackscreening. It has been happening whenever I get into the game through steam and use windows button to go to a different tab, It will make my whole screen go black for a couple seconds before being able to click on any tabs, and also when clicking back onto the game. Im not the best with PC's so forgive me if this is a personal problem, But is there any Solution/ temporary fix possible for this? is it a setting i accidently set? thanks.

You probably have set the game to fullscreen instead of windowed borderless. You can switch it back in Options > Video, where it's the third option
