pls help me
are you SURE its not your pc? my 3060ti max settings doesnt go over 70
Clean your pc
i can play other big games on max graphics with no problem like RDR2 modded full ultra (70°C) , Cyyberpunk ultra / high i have max 68°C. Dying Light 2 is the only game with this problem for me
I'm at around 80°C with my laptop with GTX1070. so it's not the game that's wrong. And I have over 90°C in RDR2. And you can only compare games that have the same game engine.
Recommend cleaning your pc out, clean out whatever you really don't need and uninstall games you don't play that often (cause you can always reinstall later) and make sure you wipe out your recycle bin often, might at well run an anti virus as well just cause
I have an rtx 4060 Ti and had similar issues till I cleaned up my pc
you can not compare laptop thermals to PC thermals. Laptops are notorious for extreme temps. 80-90° is fine / average for gaming laptops but definitely not for desktops. seems like op just needs to buy some compressed air and get rid of the dust in his pc.
Okay, I want you to run a test like furmark to check temps on your GPU, furmark will push the GPU to the point where it should heat up a lot, and once you do that tell me the temps you're getting, if it's getting 90c or above in furmark I'd suggest repasting the GPU or contacting whatever brand it is for the warranty, but if it's a reasonable temp then I'd have no clue on what to do.
I just wanted to point out that it's not the game that's wrong, but something with his computer.
fair enough 😀👍
Undervolt your GPU
I also suggest downloading fan control app, maybe your other pc fans aren't pulling their weight. Watch this video, it helped me with my gpu temps after i did what was shown in the video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uDPKVKBMQU8&ab_channel=JayzTwoCents

this may cause noise from the GPU
I recommend undervolt
this will reduce temperatures and power consumption
im not talking about about the gpu fans, im talking about EVERY fan in the pc
i changed almost nothing to the gpu fans and still dropped 15C
