are the mods we downloaded going to be free? ik i should ask this in this on a different channel here but people are concerned

As far as I'm aware from speaking to Pirek, yes these will be free content made by players for players,
Hopefully akin to games such as fallout or skyrim, regardless we should be finding out tomorrow in the AMA

If you want a higher chance of this being answered by Tymon throw it into #tymon-ama-qustions
But that's all im aware of

Basically there was a mod creator (the "I am legion reborn" mod) who has cancelled development due to some of the technicalities of the modding EULA

#

Concerns arise as in it techland is able to take mods and do as they wish, such as stealing the work for vanilla

But just because it's possible it doesnt mean it'll happen, as seen in other mod supported games

However if there was ever any agreements between the creator and techland it should be fine, as pirek said earlier there can be exceptions to this if talks with the team were already underway

ahh ok tnx..well hopefully things will be fine and good to know mods will be free techland should tell us everything tomorrow and hopefully announce a release date

We don't want a creation club thing on our hands here lol, I think they're well aware how the community would take that

well news spreads fast so we know it know hopefully they'll look at how people are reacting to it and change theyre mind if they was planning a CC thing
