Yes if you miss them, you can't do them the next day unfortunately

and if you miss even one, you can't get the charm but you can get Lucille if you get 850 kills during the entire duration of the event and if we get global goal we get Sheriff hat

Honestly it's really dumb, it wasn't specified they were available only for that specific day, I went to sleep on 6 renegades short of the mission and now I don't have any more reason to care about the whole event.

I agree. The rewards were awful to begin with, but also having you miss out if you miss one day of progression? Very bad design.
