“please wait” for certain quests and NPCs with quests

So during my time of “the Deserter” (I was in a multiplayer lobby) quest I was at the end about to talk to Meyer, and when I got the “please wait” prompt when trying to talk to her, all good, I teleport my friend over and we try to talk to her… “please wait”, I returned into my single player world, same thing, restart my game, same thing. I don’t wanna do NG+ because I’m trying to get all the achievements in this run. Please tell me how I can fix this

You have that issue like me because I made a post to get The Deserter Quest fixed by any means.
