This is a recreation of Dying Light 1's Slums map. It is inspired heavily by real life favelas of South Asia and the E3 2013 Demos of Dying Light 1. Features: - Highly accurate terrain, with 90% resemblance to the original map, just slightly bigger. - [W.I.P] Extremely detailed area design with interactive environments and a world that's lived in. -[W.I.P] Activities, random encounters, and more missions. - [W.I.P] Interiors, proper loot distribution and balance. Currently, it offers a limited area due to time restrictions. I will work on this map every once in a while, to update it so it offers a proper experience. Planned Features: - Quarantine zones, firstly the stuffed turtle one as a source of inhibitors. - Antenna Region of Slums (originally a separated part of the map) will be featured as well connected to the main slums map. - Fully made slums map, handcrafted and lived in just like the original. https://mod.io/g/dying-light-2/m/wip-dying-light-rebirth This map is W.I.P and will improve over time.

I think you'll need to pick between either character models or environments because honestly both are quite different, it's not easy to learn different disciplines at the same time. My specialization is environment which I've been doing for the past two years.

For learning there is Artstation which has a lot of free tutorials and YouTube channels like Beyond Extent, EMC3D game art which have a lot of educational content for learning
