#Unable to kill volatiles anymore...

So, I accepted a few new bounties on Techland's website, one of which is to dive kick volatiles and the other is to kill volatiles at lvl 4 chases. Unfortunately, I am unable to kill ANY volatile anymore since the newest patch... their health bars no longer show up, nor do the take damage. While I understood that this was part of the seasonal event, even turning it off and loading the game into the game excluding the event, I am still unable to kill volatiles... any advice or assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated!

Just checked and during the day in dark zones or at night seeing them on the map, I am unable to kill or damage ANY volatiles now... seems like the newest patch has just made them invincible...

They take like 7 or 8 hits on normal which is fine in my opinion.

yeah On hard with good weapon same arround 7;8 hits which I like so much, one shotting them isnt funny or challenging, they should be hard and Im glad they bufffed

So I just tried... this is what I did:
"
On Normal, without event, Tried using Polestar with legend upgrade, 16 hits... Volatile would not go down... Nor any healthbar showed up...

Used a Legendary Gravedigger ace with 3 legendary mods... 8 hits... It did die, but no healthbar appeared...
For reference, I used to be able to kill a volatile with 2-3 headshots using my polestar and I would always be able to see a healthbar...

I feel like this is a bit too tanky (especially when I'm getting quests to go kill volatiles during a lvl 4 chase) on normal, especially since I'm getting downed in like 1-2 hits... Additionally, I wouldn't mind if this if this were for the event only or on hard mode... but I kinda just wanna have fun, farm a few bounties now and then, maybe some uncommon trophies to upgrade things and having it permanently be like this has kinda killed it for me...

you have to manualy reanable helth bars in the settings

Look the DL1 volatiles are more dangerous and hard to kill and the DL2 volatiles before the Good night good luck update the volatiles are so weak even I can kill them with out boosters and I want keep the volatiles that way so they can be dangerous at night time and hard to kill

Volatiles are super easy to kill, throw flare kill 2 - 3 throw another flare loot and repeat. I don’t understand how people have trouble killing volatiles.

I am killing volatiles left and right. Strangely enough max toughness booster and max regneration booster makes you invulnerable in my game plus a weapon with quick attack stam regeneration + the maximised mods Tip: frost and Shaft: fling + grip: empowerment makes volatiles still very well killable as a cheese tactic. But way more dangerous if you use any of those buffs or don't use a weapon like that. (playing on hardest difficulty so this tactic might be even easier with normal or especially easy) with this method I killed like 20 volatiles ina lvl 4 chase.

After the update sure they are more tanky, but its takes like 5-6 hits to kill volatile on hard, so I dont think they are immortal , before I was 1-2 shotting them, So glad they fixed them.

I get that there are folks who are happy that they’ve made volatiles harder and all that. I’m happy for you all. But for folks who were enjoying it, why are so many happy their fun is now ruined.
Essentially, why wasn’t this an option or an added difficulty to appease both sides of the argument?
I see a lot of, “but dying light 1…” or “that’s how it’s supposed to be…” but for more than a year that isn’t how it’s been… so why take away what one group enjoyed and only appease the others?
I feel like this update has really shown that the community takes pride in lauding over others and is a bit full of the toxic “git gud” mentality…

I kill a Volatile on hard in like 6-8 fast swings which is like 10 seconds

and also there are low chances that someone has enough resources to make so much boosters to get lvl 250

Maybe they can implement something like an XP item for legendaries or something to make up for it

Yeh as I said I don't have much problems but people tend to perceive problems differently. I wouldn't mind a craftable item for more xp
