dying light 2 makes my PC unresponsive after alt+tab

Dying light 2 made my PC unresponsive when I alt tabbed, and I had to close the game and spam left click to get the windows environment to work again.

The same thi g happened to my old PC but instead of self fixing, it straight up corrupted my PC's boot sector, idk why that happened either.

And now on my new PC the same symptoms showed up, but I was able to reboot my PC fine without it corrupting my boot sector.

Over 400+ steam games (obv haven't aye dall of them) yet DL2 is the ONLY game this has EVER happened on.

Is there a fix or should I just avoid this game entirely?

Its a weird thing with lots of Techland games, like Dead Island, you have to right click

When you tab out, if it acts like that, right click anywhere outside the game window
