When I open the game, it flashes the Dying Light 2 logo, then I am faced with a black screen with no audio, I am playing on steam deck, and just want to play Dying light 2, but so far i have found no fix.

How long did you wait during the black screen? Game can take a while to boot after the logo

most I’ve waited is five minutes, the fps counter also says zero

Could try changing Proton compatibility to 7.0-6

It didn’t work, also opening it in desktop mode causes my steam deck to freeze and need to be restarted
