Console Can’t join friends

I’ve been having this issue with my friend where every time i try to invite and or join his game we both keep getting “a connection could not be established” and we have tried every fix for console there is and don’t know what to do? any help would or fix would be appreciated.

@tall birch we have don’t know what to do it’s been doing this for 3 days straight we thought it was our connections but we don’t know at this point anymore
