Resolution bug

After latest update for dying light 2 game sometimes starts in windowed mode, despite in settings it's full screen. The worst issue is that during the game I randomly get locked to 60 HZ, despite monitor running at 165. Changing resolution to different and back to mine fixes issue temporarily. Haven't been able to isolate what exactly causes bug

Do you have vsync turned on? might be the culprit.

i agree that the settings dont save tho, I have the same problem

no i dont use v-sync, i have g-sync for monitor instead

🤔 try to force some vsync settings in nvidia/amd control panels

Did not help, also I discovered that one of the things that causes locking to 60hz is if I alt-tab, but that is also strange since my desktop refresh rate is also set to 165

did you try going to the video.scr file in your documents->dl2>settings->out and see if you can mess with settings there?

like making it read only? I opened file through text editor, but settings are just like in game, editing and saving it didn't do the trick. I think i'll try to see if read only helps tomorrow, or will try making a clean install on another ssd
