Most zombie lvls messed up (ps4)

So after I downloaded the new update today most zombie enemies in the game are lvl 3 or 4 but I’m lvl 8 when I play a couple days ago this wasn’t happening plz help

you need to start new game+ for zombies to have same level as you

same issue here on pc ,I cant enjoy the new gore system when they all die in one hit

prolly just use a weaker weapon
