i grinded a lot on ps4 version and just got a ps5 and i want to move my ps4 save over , is there any other way to do this?

I'm using the ps4 version of the game on the ps5. You should do the same. Though I have both ps4 and ps5 version installed on my ps5 just in case they finally add cross gen saves.

so there is no cross gen? even if i transfer everything from my ps4 to my ps5 only bc its a other version?

You just have to play the ps4 version game on the ps5. Unless you want to start over.
