Even though I’ve uninstalled the mods my game still says legend levels are disabled. Is there any way I can re-enable them or is my save permanently locked out or legend levels?

Most likely the game still detects the modified files.
You might have to make a clean install of the game again.

Probably have to delete everything in ur install folder
but also they said that they will be looking into legend levels and mods
aka: probably allowing us legend levels. No idea why they made this decision to begin with 🙂

probably cause some people would like use mods to glitch legend levels or something idk
also i downloaded a mod that was supposed to make the lighting more like the E3 2019 trailer and Im having lighting issues like this but only in the area near VNC tower

i guess i could try reinstalling it and if that doesn't work then i guess im just not gonna have legend levels

It should just be the "data" files. Go to your Dying Light 2 folder, then go to "ph", then to "source", then just delete any of the .pak files (data0.pak, data1.pak, data2.pak, etc). Then verify file integrity in steam and that should take care of it.
