I gained legend xp normally (being legend level 1), and then all of a sudden my legend level was 250 after surviving a full night. I didn't do anything special, didn't die, didn't sleep.

Was looking forward to working for my levels after returning to the game (it's been a few months), but this bug kind of killed the mood.

My theory is any xp that you have gained while playing the game before the update has totaled up and been added to the legend level

Because for example I had over 1837489 parkour xp at the top of my screen and like 907473 combat xp saved up and glitched I think cuz I was already at max level

That's kind of trash tbh... very unfun. Hope it's a bug that will be corrected.

(I hope so as well) This is unfortunately out of my knowledge, but if there is a way, it will be done, as the distaste for it is quite understandable. Please bear with us 🐻

The question is if they will be able to roll it back. If they can't, then the fix will be pointless for me personally. Though I suppose it might be possible to use cheat engine or some save editor to reset legend levels and delete all the chests.

Just highlight the save by putting ceosshair on it

I haven't done the New game yet, and I don't plan to do it, I'm not going to worry about it, I'm just going to sell the game, it's the last straw.

but how are they going to fix that? since it affects the backup ... or they will release a patch and reboot everything from scratch for everyone? it's not possible either, people are sure not badly played since yesterday.

My rollback put me back just before the patch (though the last time I played prior to the patch was summer last year)

Meaning my legend levels are back to lvl 1. Are the legend boxes/outfits accountbound though? Didn't check that.

how lucky I am losing more than 200 hours of play as well as all the weapons and clothes I had won by doing the events...

Yeah, rolling back in the way I did is not gonna be an option for everyone.

Hey there!
unless you try to break it intentionally, there is already a quickfix implemented, that will stop those 250 jumps. So if you are trying to farm it up, there is not much reason to worry.
However need to wait a bit more for the proper fix that will stop it in every case.

Nice! I rolled back my save prior to I'm back legend level 1 and only lost 25 minutes. People like Heisenberg are worse off though.
