As a site of one of the first outbreaks in Europe, the intersection was sealed off by the military in an attempt to quarantine it and prevent the spread of the Virus. Those who were uninfected were abandoned within the area and left to fend for themselves. In order to support the stranded people, a group of the runners carried supplies into the quarantine zone, and set up a variety of running paths to make it safer and quicker to do this. Time went on, this became more dangerous to accomplish, and eventually it was decided that it would be best to extract as many people as possible from the quarantine zone and seal it up for the safety of those runners. Jean, a long time friend of yours and your free running Mentor continued to run supplies into the zone after it’s closure. You discovered that he was doing this to take care of a young girl who refused to leave her parents behind, their whereabouts unknown. During the most recent supply run, the only “safe” access path, a tunnel beneath the quarantine zone, caved in and separated you from Jean. You must find him, and convince him and Emily to leave the safe zone with you.
