The game itself seems to run ok. However everytime I play it it doesn't take long for my OS to completely lock up. If I tab out or close the game .exe I have to restart my pc in order to click on anything. My Taskbar, browser, desktop icons are all just basically an image I cannot click on or interact with. My pc is definitely where it needs to be for recommended specs to run this game and I have all my drivers and the OS itself up to date. I don't know what more to do or try.

further troubleshooting indicates that if I, instead of alt-tabbing, SHIFT tab to open the steam overlay it will not break my explorer.exe and I can avoid having to restart. I got another buddy who doesn't see this issue with HIS windows 11 running this game.
