i get the items but the story line is not pushed forwards in the same save on singleplayer. Why is that?

it will not save anything

you need to complete everything right from the start

on your save

and also you cant upgrade nightrunner tools if i remember

yes i know but it wont save abything elese, just your lvl, nightrunner tools and your equipment
