glitch can’t give dying survivor supplies

When we I come across a survivor who needs uv shrooms or meds etc. if I press square or spam it it never gives them it and they just end up dying which is really frustrating especially if I’m trying to get the achievement done ik there’s other survivors that aren’t like this but this has been happening since the game came out
