#Game is redownloading the entire PH files again

So I deleted my PH files because of mods. My entire game is corrupted and I read on the internet that I should just try deleting the entire ph folder where the source folder is aswell. So I deleted everything, now after i tried verifiying the game again its downloading 34 gigs of the entire folder. I have a backup of the folder on my desktop, but i'm not sure if i drag and drop it that it'll start working again. Should I just let the game download the folder again or should I drag and drop the backup?

unless you want all your data to be deleted then dont drag it (im not sure if it will. but i think it might.)
