Hey, if respawning in the last story checkpoint isn't working (pressing "W" instead of space to respawn), you might want to try to rollback the save:
Menu -> Play Campaign -> Hover your mouse on the save -> "Rollback" (press x on keyboard)

Hopefully this will fix it for you.
Also make sure to create the support ticket if you haven't already so they will be aware of the bug and will be able to fix that in the future
