I have played it for 600+ hours in 2015-17 but cracked one. I have completed it probably 23-25 times all difficulty i have all gold 24000 damage items guns everything till latest update 1.16 but i don't Play it anymore i would buy dying light 2 and play it from day 1 if possible

you dont, this thing happens when you dont close the game properly because the game have this autosave icon that appears whenever its autosaving, so if you close it in a different way than quitting(like alt f4 or right clicking the game in the tab and closing it) then autosave wont save your progress
