Oh right, the ammo aspect. Yes, the ammo is different. I recommend doing Prison for it.

You can craft ammo using requisition packages but yeah, that speaks for itself, it's not a cheap craft. You can loot them from police vans but it takes quite a long time.

silenced pistols make more sense than silenced rifles. Pistols are relatively low on in velocity, while rifle rounds are particularly high. You need to modfy the rifle more for it to cycle properly, using subsonic ammunition. IT can be done but its more problematic for rifles. You can't really silence shotguns, you can reduce their noise profiles.

it does help a lot if you know what to bring: a better police rifle, a shotgun (pump or semi), flares, LOTS of medkits, a few flares, good melees and resistance potiosn if you can get them

if you know the route you can avoid some enemies

you can look up videos but if you want, I can play with you and help you, I could use a prison run anyway

You can't. You'll have to go through them all over again.

Remember to make sure you know where the collectable should be and when you've confirmed that you've already picked it up, mark it off somewhere. So you won't have to revisit places.

When you're stuck in a permanent seizure state I am guessing? Well, it is a very bad bug to get. NG+ will solve it, or restoring your game to a previous version if you have backup. I'm not sure if you can change to a previous quest and that would fix it.

is there supposed to be some special trick to him? I empited rifle, pistol, shotgun and arrows into the sucker and neither his armor or his healthbar dropped an inch

best to throw melee weapons at him as that tends to do more damage (downside is finding them afterwards) but once you get his helmet off, he’s easy to defeat then. It’s just a matter of getting his armor off. It takes a while no joke but can be done and I have also found that exploding arrows work better than guns as that takes off 140hp and guns like 4 or something
