VAC is in control of banning people and monitoring cheats, and while we can look out for cheaters as a community, we don't want to create some sort of blacklist for the public to shame those who may be hacking.

Throwing in my two cents on this cheating discussion that has been had
@grim smelt not sure why you'd want this discord staff specifically to do anything about cheaters anyways, imho it would in-fact make it worse to name shame.
All you need to do is report their profile on steam for cheating, which flags their account (in most cases speeds up the VAC ban process). VAC is arguably the best, or at the very least one of the best, anti-cheat software out there that doesn't dramatically reduce game performance.
Unless the cheater has extensive backgrounds with both x86 assembly and windows api, they will get banned relatively quick. Unless someone paid out their a** for a well assembled cheat, but let's be honest here.. most cheaters in dying light use cheat engine because dying light isn't popular enough this late to draw attention of high-class cheats anymore

@nimble fulcrum Best way that I've personally found is to craft a couple throwing stars. Burning usually works for me. Then crouch, and sneak up behind the bolter, before throwing the star at it. Not too close, cause it'll run if it sees you, as you know. A little tip is that most bolter feeding grounds are near a safezone. Once you kill it, run back to the safezone after looting it, and you should be ok. If you fail, just sleep twice until the next night and the bolter should have respawned by then.
If you somehow have a bow, then a headshot will kill the bolter instantly.

Ah. Then leave the match, and go back to your save. That should fix it. When you sleep and come back to the nest, the bolter should be back.
Also, turn off invasions if you don't want to be bothered by other players as zombies.

Yeah. In the zones with the skull, there's always a bolter. Usually it's kneeling, and you can hear the sounds of it eating.

This is, perhaps, a stupid question but, do you need to have found a gun to do the prison stuff? I just found the boat and, after a few attempts, haven't found a way to approach the dudes with rifles without getting killed.

Though if you're hoping random people will join it all depends on the difficulty you're playing on as well as if you have VAC turned on or off.

Fake 'em out regarding the direction you're coming from. Tackles skip the dodge phase when initiated while the human (ON THEIR SCREEN!) is facing too far in a different direction.
Also, tackles from around straight above or below can't really be dodged because you practically just can't aim high/low enough.

I have not yet played coop, but I don't find the game very boring.

It depends on your preferences. I love the game in solo and co-op. It can however be good to play the game in solo the first time to really get a good grasp of the mechanics and level up on your own without relying on co-op assistance. Recommended, not necessary.

Okay, every biter and viral is an Alpha Volatile. Every Goon, Demolisher and Toad is a freak of nature of their respective class. Hazmats are telebombers and every Volatile is a Night Hunter. Everything will one hit kill you, safe zones don't work, loot is scarce, it takes 100x more XP to level up your skill trees and 1000x more XP to level up legend levels and night is permanent.
Very balanced difficulty.
