@turbid vigil only be flying thru the air if your using mouse and keyboard. With controller you can't tendril sprint and jump with semi circles for like 3 seconds.

Morning all! So my latest Dying Light 2 weapon replica is finally done(postponements due to severe cold weather and then a head injury haha) but it’s DONE!! What do you guys think??

What materials were used there?

well the handle was a branch that I found on my farm and whittled down using a chisel so that it tapered on the bottom for the handle. Then I added some more wood chips on the top to make it a tad larger on top. Then I took a piece of sheet metal and cut them into strips and for the holes I used a reg hole punch machine(like the three prong ones you use for reports) then spray painted the strips a hammered metal color and then I stained the wood itself to make it darker since whittling it made it light colored as it no longer had bark on it. Then used square head wood screws to wrap the metal strips around the top and there ya go. I strictly always use hand help tool and stay away from electrical tools for the DL2 replicas since it’s a kinda medieval feel of a game for weapon making and they didn’t have electric tools then haha

Like...are there people interested to talk more than just what we've given in the notes and wikis to come up with theories about the inner workings (like other fandoms, cough-animorphs-cough)? Come up with creative ideas of how we think this could go, to the point it becomes fridge horror or other things to make us a little happy with closure even if its not offical

I thought of that that person there on the ground might have quite a backstory, because they seemed to have saved the live of their dog, which most be pretty hard in a situation like that, and they seem to pretty much live alone on that room, so they probably lost someone to the virus, so I was thinking of that they could get quite a nice fanmade backstory, as I don't really think that they'll be an important character in the main game, and that'd probs be a nice filler for a seeminlgy not so important character, but it could give another look at the virus, from someone elses eyes... who desperately tries to keep their puppy alive, and who doesn't like doggos?

Hm, I never noticed the dog till now. And funny thing, although my writing takes place a week after the Following in story, there was a theory I thought was that dogs didn't seem like the source of the virus like rabies because most of the dog corpses looked like they were murdered not eaten (or I could be reading this too much). It let me to think of an idea where a few dogs in the city I based in and Harran, becomes a means to go get supplies (kinda like Boomer from FC5...GOOD GIRL!), trained by a small group of three at the animal shelter.

Still this is something I never knew and sure, I wouldn't mind tackling. Probably for a DL2 fanfic, not the one I'm doing right now.
