@honest gate It's most likely because consoles still have the old insta tackle nerf and the fact that you have a single thumbstick for movement instead of a combination of 2 keys being often used at the same time. You have a lot of control over the speed while on a keyboard it's either max or none, which (along with personal experience) makes me believe you can't actually go as fast with a thumbstick than if you just pressed W, even if the stick is pushed all the way.

Anyone here know if there's a glitch to jump a dozen feet straight up in Old Town? Cause some person tried it on me twice before failing and dying of fall damage. It left me so confused how we would both be on the roof, I would miss a GP, and he would somehow trigger a DfA from right beside me.

There are specific places launches can be done, but not from flat unoccupied ground, and USUALLY not at lethal height.
Where exactlydid this occur?
If it was on a roof with a roof hatch and a fence right next to it, thats a glitch. If not, it might just be a cheater.

It was a roof with a skylight beside a fence. It happened near the, i want to say outside restaurants? It had the large canopies that Survivors can use to break their fall. I managed to bait him into jumping a little too far and missing, so he died of fall damage
