Now I remember how underpowered the night hunter is, unfair drop kick locks (can’t be dodged but are somehow heat seeking, even in midair) humans get to much forgiveness for making mistakes while the hunter gets none, can’t affect water campers, say you miss a tackle and attempt to doge and you get a high jump in time (that won’t matter because humans get crazy reach on their weapons even with the advanced agility), you can get one shotted by certain weapons, humans can spam space bar during the given quick prompt to always dodge your tackle while you can’t dodge drop kicks unless you are already in the air, etc.

They nerfed the humans in 2018 a little bit but they still need to be nerfed more or the night hunter should get some buffs.

talking about shields in general: this is probably a balanced item in a 1v1, but quickly gets game breaking when used in coop games. It's not even about timing. The fact that, you can already dodge spits, explosions, even tackle knockback, quite makes it quickly busted enough.

And don't tell me it's skilled either pressing MMB to dodge x thing. Shields don't really have a counter either. Cloak potion has a purpose to delay the horde duration, but is counterable by letting the hunter claw you once. Atleast you can do that. It's just the way the mechanic of the shield works.

you only can do it while climbing up, not looking back.

in general if you get pounced from the back while climbing crane should be somewhat animation locked. so a 180 uv shine would be really hard
