One night hunter invaded me in The Following during my own invasion of one of Volatile´s hive. Interesting is, that after that I still could destroy one volatile nest, which was there, it got healthbar like it was PVP one, but when destroyed it didn´t take effect in both hive and PVP. And during my leaving of the nest, despise of invasion running (and night hunter now fully connected), I did encounter one volatile in the nest (but he didn´t attack me as I had camouflage).
Also, there sucks that I can´t switch items when I ride car. Because I had some deaths in which I jumped out of car, wanted to shine some UV enlightement into night hunter, but as had flares selected instead, he had enough time to pounce me.

Many people play without hud. I used to do it for a long time until I got tired of it and went back to playing normally. Not being able to see the hunter on the minimap isn't as bad as it might seem at first.

But the thing is, a uv suppressor spit is much more valuable than the sense suppressor spit. If you struggle against sense suppressor spits then you might want to change up your playstyle a little bit as well as other things like sound.
