best rewards from BtZ are the fun you have while doing it (if you don't rage anyways) and trash weapons to throw at hunters for shits and giggles, then the occasional rare hunter gland

Rewards for Hunter are 1000xp for loss. 2000xp for win. +elo for wins and -wins for losses
Survivors get weapons no matter if they win or lose so long as it is not an abort. Winning grants legend xp or survivor if youre not a legend level yet as well as higher chances at gold weapons. If ypu lose you have a lower chance for golden weapons but you still get weapons as a reward. Same +elo and -elo system for survivors as well.

@honest gate they swing slower. Same damage. But some have longer ranges than the normal 1 handers. Scythe is longer than khopesh for example so you can get slices from a farther distance. Theyre not very good for combos though, the only real use for them would just be yeeting them at the hunter or something.

so far the best way to dodge it that i've found is to grappling hook up somewhere and switch back to uv immediately just incase
then cancel the hook and drop on the hunter for a DFA if you can aim it right

@honest gate shield blocks spits, virals, goons, car traps, negates some fall damage, blocks stuns from hunter (pounce and tackle stuns), and it cancels a lot of animations like dropkick, ground pound (heavy weapon), whirlwind, slicing, etc.

trying out some new stuff and the easiest way to land one thing is after a GP misses survivors and they get caught in the animation, these hunters today either were just a lot better and too fast for me, or it didn't seem like I could dodge enough to avoid the GP. And those times were normally spitsmashes(which brought up my spitsmash question)
well they were basically all a lot better than I am today, one match to start the day was really easy and he ragequit, then some pretty balanced matches, then I got stomped throughout the rest of the day

also DLR is less active than Vanilla. They play at certain times in a group call. Most players will be on vanilla. Just add good players like omni, heller, myself, or whoever is good to you and invite them when you want a hunter. Otherwise youll mostly get biters
