I find it really difficult to fight against some players. If I die like 3 times and lose 2 nests without a single kill, I just quit. I know I won't be able to beat him and it's a waste of time.
Some players are really good. They keep the flashlight on you at all times, they evade every tackle, push you into wall spikes, get over a van and kill you from above. I don't know how to deal with them.

Unless you have 4 guys that know each other and have a lot of experience on the game. Victory's on a silver plate.
Now you have to be careful as fuck with the cooldown management if you don't want to be free meat.

yesterday I got invaded by a really bad hunter (it was my second invasion), and he still won. I couldn't kill him fast enough, even after depleting his stamina, his claws killed me faster than my weapon. I don't have much practice as survivor
also, I couldn't dropkick very well. Sometime it didn't work and I just did a regular kick
I really hate running with the left stick (playing with a controller)
many times I pressed it more than once because I wasn't sure if I was running or not, and dropkicks tend to not work when I need them

4v1s are so ridiculously easy it gets boring. But it's cool to farm exp points and evolve faster
1v1s can be extremely hard depending on the human player. Anyway, the human has a lot of cooldown limitations like I said before.
On a medium-fast paced combat you can actually out-cooldown the human if you survive long enough. Eventually both his flares and UV will be on cooldown and will give you a breach to pounce.
You literally have to rely on zoning tactics against good hunters, and use your flares more frequently than just a panic button for when your UV's not available.
I have the habit of throwing a flare on the volatile spawn while I kill them. It saves a couple seconds of UV light when the hunter has to engage you, or at least it will burn out one of the spits on a futile attempt to zone you out of it. Which is valuable and to your advantage as a human.

I suggest obtaining Premium Oriental Khopesh. I prefer to use electricity and maybe toxic since it helps against virals. Heavy Tribal Axe is the one I personally prefer to use.
You can get Gold-tier Premium Oriental Khopesh by opening dockets at Survivor skill-tree rank 19, or keep on playing and eventually you can get it from rewards at end of invasion match at Underdog + rank.

I don't know for sure with two handed weapons, pickaxes are said to have longest range but I don't really care. Khopesh is definitely longer than machete but has slightly lower swing speed, khopesh downside is hitting object or something that may block your swing in tight spots.
Premium Oriental and Exceptional khopesh are longest among all other khopshes and one handed weapons.

Mainly it's useful for health buffs. The damages aren't useful against hunter and nests since it has its own % scaling, so doesn't matter 500 damage weapon or 5000, but it'll help with killing biters and virals.

No you don't need to play as hunter at all in order to start getting Gold-tier weapons, you must be human rank called Underdog or above, it's fourth rank, after that on every victory or defeat you'll have around 50% chance of earning Gold-tier weapon.

No, Co-Op competitions have nothing to do with it. You simply win a match as human and that way you rank up your human rank. You start off as a Prey first, you can see ranks of hunter and every human in match at match end scoreboard.

It's easy if you just keep on playing eventually you'll get there. Anyways if you really want Gold-tier weapons then invasions are one of the least best ways of getting it, you should play Bozak Horde or Prison Heist for fastest and most reliable way of earning Gold-tier weapons.

legend lvl depends on that. maxing out the melee weapon dmg category will make you able to get 5000 dmg weapons. without that the dmg is less. (btw weapons dont matter much in invasions apart from reach and swing speed, a pipe can do as much dmg as a 5k dmg machete.)
against hunter. virals during the invasion do matter what the dmg is.

There is no other way of getting good, no shortcuts. You should see if guide helps, take a look at pinned messages. Avoid YouTube and videos, mostly it's not done very well and even if so, you will barely learn anything by watching videos. Invasions are all about muscle memory and quick decision making, it only comes from experience.

Playing invasions with randoms is usually bad idea, go to Menu > Options > Online and set Allow Human Co-Ops to off if you don't want human players joining, hunters will still be able to invade.

It doesn't do anything special, I like Vicious Saber personally, feels slightly faster and easier to handle. Khopesh's disadvantage is that it's slightly slower and you can accidentally hit something else which will cancel your swing and potentially let hunter live especially in tight spots.

Some are better / have hidden traits. For example attacking nest with charged attack from two handed weapon that has no blueprint applied does far higher damage at first hit, try it.
I noticed especially the Volatile Hunter knife underperforming against nests for some reason, you can test it if you want.
