I was groovin' to some tunes and shooting a group of Feral Ghouls with some new guns from mods. I pick only the ones you earn by killing enemies, finding out in the world, or by trading with vendors. Any other mod that haves you craft a weapon at a Chemistry Station, I do not use. They aren't absurdly high in damage and they do help out quite a lot in Survival difficulty. I only one shot these guys because of the level-scaling mechanic in Fallout 4, and the base damage for them is below 70.peepohappy
