I picked up Observer and Narcosis from Limited Run Games' physical release store and I have Perception on digital. The synopsis seems great on all of them. I just hope they live up to it. Especially Observer because I dropped $120 on that one.

Oh no, don't worry. It's one of the most immersive games I've played and that was back in 2018/2019. It's a must-play for any horror fan.

Well, it is quite old, it's from 2010. Though it received a difficulty update in 2019 as well as a couple of announcements in recent times for the new game in the series: Amnesia: Rebirth. The recent release could possibly be related to that.

Another game I can definitely recommend by the same developer is SOMA, though you might have played that one already as it's not that old.

I personally haven't played A Machine for Pigs, though I hear The Dark Descent supposedly stomps AMfP. However, it's worth noting that it was developed by a different company, so they probably lack the experience and master craftsmanship of horror and immersion that Frictional has.
Justine is just a short little DLC for The Dark Descent. Nothing too grand but still enjoyable for what it is.
As for SOMA, it really comes down to how big of a fan you are of horror. Judging by what you've said you seem to be quite into it, so I would have to say full price for that one.

My worry with SOMA was that I am a huge fan of horror, but not so much of a fan of sci-fi. Like, Alien Isolation isn't my thing, for example. I don't like Dead Space, either.
