That's fair, and quite a respectable attitude. But I'll tell you that oil functions the same way as main busses, everything does really. Spaghetti is never the ideal way of doing things.

You can always go for a custom difficulty like expanding the size of the starting area or turning pollution off. There's a lot of options if you don't feel like just jumping straight into it.

Theis statement on this is that they have a demo that shows you a lot of the game and is free. If you want that kind of game, they think the price is fair and they don't want people buying it just because it's on sale either.

It has been released officially in August but they have been working on it since 2013 afair. Around 20 people or so. Been in Early Access for years.

I like reading thei Friday Facts where they talk about development and anything related to their game.

you can wallrun on the side of a box or a fence

they dont need to be very big

@brisk pilot lol there is nothing wrong with crag field, bulb zone, underwater islands, blood kelp or the blood kelp islands.
Crag Field: no life. Microscopic, if any. Has a lifepod that doesn't show up in the waypoints.
Bulb Zone: few bone sharks, really cool place. If you stick to the perimeter, all you need to do is repair your vehicle once in a couple minutes cuz of the sharks trying to have a bite on metal. In the middle it is really calm. Maybe you'll run into an ampeel.
Underwater Islands: You want to go here for resources, all the danger is like two warpers. a crabsquid on the lowest levels and bone sharks on the perimeter... floaters... so many floaters...
Blood Kelp: Most resourceful place, just awesome. But if you're still infected there are one or two warpers in each blood kelp. Other than that I don't want to spoil much. It's the most well made biome in the game. You might run into an ampeel.

The only places you might wanna reconsider going into are the crash zone, mountains, and dunes. god, there's nothing like hearing two to three reapers simultaneously.

But remember, 7 of the 9 preconditions
