I can only talk about the gameplay since I skipped all the cutscenes. :p The gameplay is fluid and the combat was more fun than I would've imagined from a parkour game. So yeah I recommend it, you got to ask someone else about the story part though since I only bought it for the gameplay.

There's a chance it has something to do with your feet touching the ground if you fly over an elevated surface

But as familiar as I am with doing that, I don't think that's how it works

You won't actually touch the ground even if your mesh makes contact with the ground
