like for starting, since you should be getting a ship with rental modules (thrusters and all that)
you can go for data delivery missions while slowly upgrading the starter ship to slowly start doing more

the main important thing to start with is the Frame Shift Drive (FSD) as it increases jump range

you can even try doing some cargo delivery stuff, just be sure you have the time and cargo space for said missions
if needed wait til the next ship before doing cargo stuff

(npc ships can interdict you for cargo missions, also data but more rarely, but don't worry, the npc interdictions are easy, just rotate/aim the ship towards the blue escape vector)

keybind note; if you want you can bind/check all of them, but you only need like landing gear, cargo hatch, changing power modes, hardpoint deployment, ship flight controls etc...

you can play the game on mostly just the needed controls, and only look up other controls as needed

I love dead space. Even 3. Without the dlc that is.

I liked that when you play as carver, you can actually learn more about him. I liked the combat more, and the overall feel and atmosphere. And also isaac himself, without the dlc, ds3 would have at LEAST been decent. To me.
