They got rid of XP system, so killing mobs/completing quests gives you a gear/gold only, but you can still level up by collecting artifacts from the biomes. Level UP doesn't increase your damage/HP, it increase utility like climbing/gliding etc. in small %. The game is now gear based. Gear is mostly region locked, that mean you can't use e.g Weapon #1 in Region #2. Rare gear with + can be used in multiple regions, but it gets nerfed. No more skill tree, you can change specialization in Guild Master NPC. Biomes (regions) are pretty big, so copleting one in 100% will take you up to 15h, it depends ofc. New region ~ starting from 0

The game will have a lot of bad revievs because of that

Let me tell you about EA/Origin customer support.

I got more help from a Czech kid on youtube that had 40 subscribers, than from my support ticket when I had a problem with Origin

EA is bullshit but Origin is double bullshit
It crashes, it has bugs, the servers are bad and some online features don't even work. I can't play Dead Space 3 in co-op as an example.

It's nice that origin access lets you play lots of games for free by paying two games' prices per year... but it's only worth it if you like to try out a lot of different games. I'm not that casual of a gamer so I tryhard on like 5 specific games and never play other games.
