Another zombie game I would recommend is Left 4 Dead (1 or 2, though 2 has more content).
Ironically I would also recommend Dead Island, I still had fun playing that game despite all the mediocre reviews - and there's plenty of similarities to Dying Light, especially considering it was also developed by Techland.

The best I can find so far (on my own) is Fortnite: Save the World (PvE) which is like Tower Defense + Zombies FPS and Deep Rock Galactic which is like Minecraft + Zombies FPS.
both are fairly strong with a lot of interesting depth
there's some talk of the Fortnite: PvE going free in 2019 but seeing that it is for sale at USD$59 now i kinda doubt it

Yeah it was really good, but i loved 1942 for huge maps and incredible tactical combat (it was needed since you had like 3 capture points + 2 spawns in a huge map)
if you died you had to run for 5 minutes to the point

well you have option to spawn in the base if you want (i think so)

Guys I could find Grand Theft Auto V for around CDN$17 and while it's an amazing big budget open-world game, the missions are technical single-player only.
Great value but simply not co-op rite?
Any other amazing deals out there like Dying Light 1 or what?
The closest I could find for now is Deep Rock Galactic (which is suppose to be Mine Craft crossed with Surviver + it has co-op up to 6 players--but big draw back is that all the levels are procedurally created, there's no human touch on the world that you are visiting, it's all created by a subroutine)

the other one I could find is pretty old title, Fortnite: Save the World (it's suppose to be a cross between Tower Defense + FPS Survival against zombies. Some people say it's a very deep game so it has that going for it. The levels seem to be hand-crafted, not procedural.
I don't know just how "co-op" it is tho.
I was also shocked at the price, USD$60, what the heck???
Please let me know if there's a decent co-op game that's really exciting and crazy fun!

@rare palm my first play through with RDR2, I was full honor and got the beautiful ending. (all i did was help random people asking for it and anytime that I got too low honor by doing missions and killing the popo, I would just ride into Saint Denis and say hi to everyone and that brings up ur honor massively if you keep doing it too! ๐๐ป This play through, iโm shooting for full dishonor and well thatโs the easier part to do haha
